Installation Weekend – Senior Rabbi Joshua Caruso

We invite you to join us to celebrate the installation of Rabbi Joshua Caruso as Senior Rabbi at Congregation Mishkan Or (26000 Shaker Boulevard, Beachwood, OH 44122-7199). 

This weekend will be filled with time to celebrate, worship, reflect, socialize, and engage.

Friday, November 6

6:00 pm – Installation Shabbat Service

  • Featuring guest speaker Rabbi Stephanie Kolin.
  • Oneg immediately following.
  • Open to the community.

7:30 pm – Celebratory Shabbat Dinner

  • Celebrate Rabbi Caruso’s installation with friends, family, and a Mediterranean-style dinner catered by Jay Leitson, following the Installation Shabbat Service.
  • $50 per person. 
  • Space is limited—RSVP by October 23.

Saturday, November 7 

10:30 am – Community Shabbat Service

  • Join us for a multigenerational Shabbat service, followed by a hearty oneg lunch as we continue celebrating Rabbi Caruso’s installation weekend.
  • Free and open to the community; RSVP requested.

7:00 pm – Havdalah

7:15 pm – Nefesh Mountain in Concert

8:15 pm – Dessert Reception

  • Open to the community.  

Sunday, November 8

8:00 am – Brotherhood Pancake Breakfast

  • A joyful, family-friendly, and informal event to close to the weekend.
